Obituary

Annette Braithwaite Mumme passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on January 7th, 2020.

Annette was born to Kenneth and Marcile Braithwaite on April 18th, 1954 in Gunnison UT.

Annette began piano lessons from her mother at a very young age. She had a true passion for music and played throughout her life. One of her greatest joys was playing in a band with her grandson, KJ.

Annette also had a great love for animals. As a child she would take in and care for strays. She had many beloved pets, from a multitude of cats to her revered horse scout, and most recently, her k9 companion, Zoey Lynn.

Annette would tell you her greatest accomplishment in life was her family. She met her surviving husband, John Mumme, in Salt Lake City in 1977. She fell deeply in love and married him on May 27th, 1978. Together they had three children and a lifetime of precious memories. Her children and grandchildren truly meant the world to her.

Annette's favorite pastimes include attending the theater, crochet, pizza and movie nights, shopping, camping, and mint brownies.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Marcile Braithwaite, and her brother, Steve Braithwaite; She is survived by her husband, John Mumme, her brothers, Kay J. Braithwaite and Jeff Braithwaite, her children, Patrick Mumme, Melissa Sink, and Melanie Mumme, her 9 grandchildren, and her many friends and relatives who loved her dearly.
