October 25, 2000 – May 31, 2020

Cadon Kaleo Buttel, age 19, returned to his Heavenly Father on May 31, 2020 in Springville, Utah. Cadon was born on October 25, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada to parents Benjamin and Candace (Partridge) Buttel. Cadon attended Orem High School. Cadon loved being outdoors and hanging out with his friends. He loved music, fashion, and he was talented with a computer; he taught himself how to code and build computers at a young age. Cadon was a smart kid who was good at everything he tried. He was very athletic and a great friend to everyone. He was very loving, compassionate, and sensitive to the needs of others. Cadon was always happy and had a contagious smile. He was a loving brother to his siblings and a wonderful son to his parents. Cadon always knew how to get his way; he would pay his sisters to do his laundry and clean his room for him. He loved to spoil his siblings. His older brother Hunter was his best friend and Cadon loved spending time and working out with him.

Cadon leaves behind his parents Benjamin and Candace (Partridge) Buttel, his brothers Hunter and Branson, sisters Tatyana, Natasha, Shalei, and Celeste, and niece Malaiya Malcom. He also leaves behind his grandparents John & Moevanu (Talamaivao) Buttel and Kent and Denise (Bennion) Partridge, along with a host of loving aunties, uncles, and cousins who will miss him terribly. Families are forever, until we meet again.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, June 11th from 6-8pm at the Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N. University Ave., Provo, UT. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 12th at 9:30am at Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N 800 E St, Orem, UT.

Candace and Ben,
Although I had heard from my mom back in June about this incredibly painful loss of your son Cadon, I just discovered this link to the memorial wall that I could send a leave a message on. I am so sorry! In times like these one feels reticent to even breathe and exhale any sentiments because how could I possibly know what you are going through? I can feel from a mother's heart in part of how I think I would feel to lose a child but I am sure until the very flesh of my heart was peeled away revealing my raw agony I could not begin to speak of what you have been through. I can only offer my prayers and my sincerest regret for the life changing and heavy hearts you have had to carry! Sending you my love.

A beautiful soul gone too soon. I am praying for the parents and siblings of Cadon. We are never prepared for the plans the Lord has for us and although we trust his word the pain of losing someone you love unconditionally at such a young age and with so much to give the world is unimaginable. Buttel family you are in my prayers and in my heart.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm just a random stranger who happened to stumble upon this. The world won't be the same without him but God decided he needed his angel back sooner than we had planned. My deepest thoughts and prayers to you and your family 💛
