Obituary for Gerald Warren Bott

Gerald Warren Bott
We come together to celebrate the life of a great man Gerald (Jerry) Warren Bott. Jerry was called to heaven on his 74th birthday in his home in Provo,UT. He is survived by his beautiful wife Vicky and their four kids Jeri(Jessie), Shane, Laurie and Jason(Jennifer).

Jerry’s number one priority was his family. From being a handyman around the house for his wife Vicky to coaching his kids to play softball and of course yelling at the umpires for all the bad calls during his grand kids games. Jerry loved having get togethers with the whole family which was a normal occasion for Sunday evening BBQ’s that of course had seafood which was his favorite. He also loved to go fishing and hunting with his good friends and family. Poker nights were especially fun , unless Jerry was on the losing end then it became a little heated of course.

Jerry fought for our country in the navy as a young man when he was 17 and returned home from service at the age of 23. Upon his return he was married to the love of his life Vicky and they began their beautiful family and amazing adventures. Jerry’s family only continue to grow as he had 25 grandchildren, one in heaven, and 33 great grandchildren with 5 on the way.

Jerry lived an amazing life and greatly impacted everyone that was a part of it. He will continue to be surrounded by love from his family and friends. Jerry will always be remembered as a loving and selfless man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone and drop anything he was doing to comfort those in need.
Jerry will be missed greatly.
