Ida Maxine Crapo passed away at the age of 76 on December 5, 2019 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah.

Maxine was born on November 24, 1943 in Huntington, Utah to John Morris and Nona Belle Chidester. She married Lawrin Ray Crapo on July 31, 1963, beginning a long and happy marriage. Maxine worked as a rest home nurse and enjoyed gardening and sewing, but her main work and interest was in raising her children and enjoying her grandchildren. Maxine was previously a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and later on in life became a Seventh Day Adventist believer. (meaning some one who believes in the Seventh Day Sabbath, and looking forward to the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.)

She is survived by her husband Ray, children: Lawrin, Sarah, and Jason, grandchildren: Cassie, Jennifer, Rachel, Jeromy, Dusty, Brenden, Makalya and Josh, several great-grand children, and siblings: Gloria Champion, Juanita (Jay) Colby, Linda Bangerter, Lawrence (Emily) Chidester, John Chidester, and Glena (Brad) Bird.

A viewing and service for Maxine will be held on Thursday, December 12 at Nelson Family Mortuary 4780 North University Ave. Provo ,Utah. Viewing will be from 9-12Am. Service will be at 12 noon. Interment will follow at the Provo City Cemetery 610 South State street (North West Entrance) Provo. After the services, Lunch and Visiting Will be at Chuck-A-Rama In Provo, 1081 South University Ave. Provo. All are Welcome to join us (Self Pay.)
