The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Millhollon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Cathy Wetten

My deepest sympathies to all of you at such a loss. Having experiences similar losses I am familiar with the deep pain and sorrow that accompanies times these. I want to share a couple of scriptures that have brought me a measure of comfort every time and I hope will do the same for you. Job 14:14,15 talks about a man dying and yet God being anxious to bring him back to life again. My favorite tho is found at John chapter 11 when Jesus resurrected Lazarus. Even tho Jesus knew what he was about to do, when he saw the deep pain and sorrow of the people around him, the account says Jesus wept. Both accounts help us to realize that Jesus and his Father feel our pain and hurt and they hurt too. But both accounts also show us how much they want to bring back to life our dead loved ones. So may “the God of all comfort” wrap loving arms around you all at this time while we all await that beautiful day when we can welcome back our loved ones in that resurrection. Cathy Wetten. jw.org
