Obituary

Marion Earl – Born February 9th, 2011, graduated from this life peacefully on Wednesday, January 23rd 2019, 6:50 p.m., at Primary Children’s Hospital, in the loving arms of her beautiful mother Angelique Earl, (while her dad held her hand and told her just how much everyone loved her and was proud of her). Marion had been diagnosed with a brain tumor at the young age of 1 ½ years old, and had undergone treatments at Primary Children’s Hospital since that time. Marion was always happy, and even enjoyed her time getting chemotherapy treatments, as she viewed it as a great chance to spend time with the people that she loved. Marion’s most recent MRI showed that her tumor was shrinking. When she announced the good news at her school, her classmates stood up and cheered. She was loved by all.

Marion is survived by her father Justin D. Earl, her mother Angelique C. Earl, her older brother Douglas (Dougie) J. Earl, her younger brother Dexter C. Earl, her younger sister Lisette Earl, and her youngest brother Jonathan (Jonny) C. Earl.

Marion’s very favorite thing was spending time with the people that she loved. The last words that she spoke on this earth were filled with comments about how Dougie was the best big brother ever, how she loved to play with Dexter, and how she was so grateful for how much they both helped her out. She frequently mentioned just how much she loved sharing a room with “the best sister ever, Lisette,” and how much she loved to help take care of her little baby, Jonny.

Marion did hard things with a composure and grace that were unmatched. She loved others and truly appreciated everyone individually. She prayed for such a long list of people every night, and she was always so happy and excited for life. Every day was the “Best Day Ever!”

Marion, our little baby, we love you so so much, and we are so proud of you! Thank you for everything that you did for us all. We are going to try to be more like you…

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 1st at 11:00 am at the Windsor 6th Ward Chapel, 60 East 1600 North, Orem, Utah. Visitation with the family will occur on Thursday, January 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N. University Avenue, Provo, Utah, and again just before the funeral on February 1st from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at the Windsor 6th Ward Chapel, 60 East 1600 North, in Orem. We will miss your little voice saying nice things, your little hands helping others and holding ours, and your little spirit and smile that brightened our lives. We will not be whole again until we walk and talk with you once more.

My heart was caught when I read of your loss and I wanted to send my warmest condolences to the family. Your beautiful Marion sounds like a fighter, full of love and sweetness. To lose a child, a part of you, can bring such overwhelming grief but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He doesn’t cause the loss and that He hears your prayers, sees your tears and feels your pain. John 5:28,29 gives loving assurance that you will have her in your life once again without the pain we see today. Until God’s promises come true may every good thought, every memory of the love you felt, flood and overtake you with calm and peace to help you through the dark moments. Heartfelt Sympathies

Posted at 01:12pm
My daughter Lily was a new student at Orchard this year, Marion was the first friend she made that day. Lily loved holding her hand and sitting by her in class. I met Marion when I helped in the class Christmas party, when Marion realized I was Lily’s mom she went on and on about how much she liked being Lily’s friend and how nice she was. I was so touched that this sweet second grader felt like she should tell her friend’s mom how kind her daughter was. Marion will be deeply missed. Sincerest condolences,
