Tayva Ann Steele, age 33, passed away on June 1, 2019 from an auto accident. She was born in Provo, Utah on May 1, 1986 to James and Melody Ashman. She married Cory Steele on September 12, 2009 and later divorced. She is preceded in death by her son, Jayden.

Tayva worked for a number of years as a Master Esthetician. She loved to make people feel relaxed and pampered. Tayva’s heart was full of love. She was one of most compassionate people you would ever meet. She had a smile that was pure sunshine. She loved animals and was always nursing injured animals back to health. She loved to feed hummingbirds. They trusted her so much that there would always be several buzzing around her head on the patio. She loved gardening and spent many hours outside making the yard beautiful.

Loved ones that will miss her greatly are her children Shayden and Pearl, parents James and Melody, sister Mickie (Randy husband), brother Troy (Mindy wife), brother Martin (Rita wife), sister Tricia, brother Michael (Jessica wife), brother Todd (Deanna wife), sister Terri (Mark husband), brother Tyler (Tiffany wife), sister Traci (Bill husband), and sister Jamie (Barry husband). All of whom she loved deeply.

Funeral services will be held on June 7th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel located on 1316 S Main St. Mapleton, UT. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects one hour prior to the funeral service. Dedication of the grave will be at the Mapleton Cemetery, Mapleton.
