As her husband farmed than went into the car business, she increased her skills in cooking and sewing. However, Wilda’s greatest creative accomplishment was her garden which brought her intense satisfaction in work well invested.
Wilda found great joy in the success and accomplishments of her children. She made great efforts to attend baptisms, games, performances, and graduations of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The high priority of family led Wilda to make trips to Texas, Louisiana, Florida, New Hampshire, Michigan, Hawaii, and other places to celebrate with the family members she loved so much. Remembrances of these experiences are found in her well crafted scrapbooks.
Wilda is survived by her sons Ralph (Amy) Christensen, and Jeff (Susan) Christensen, her daughter Diana (Kevin) Pritchett, her brother T. Leslie (Denise) Youd, 18 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Aunt Wilda has always been a part of my life and I will miss her. Growing up my father (Wilda's brother John) would often tell me stories of the things he and Wilda would do together growing up. They shared a paper route and would travel Lake Shore by horse and bike to deliver the paper. He was very fond of his sister and inspired in me a love of Wilda. I also spent a lot of time with Tom growing up and I grew to love my time in her home. Condolences to Diana, Jeff and Ralph. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Wilda was a wonderful, gracious lady. She always made you feel special and the only one around when you were talking to her. We truly love her. We know those on the other side of veil are happy to have back in their lives. May Heavenly Father bless you with all the blessings you need now and in the future. May he send those memories you treasure back to your mind often. Charles Audra Thorpe

To the family of Wilda, I love you all, just as I did your precious mother. We did church work together, did aerobic dance together, and shared many thoughts and feelings over the years. I remember when I would practice the organ in the JSMBuilding in SLC, and she would be serving there as a tour guide. It was always a delight to see and visit with her in that setting. She is a remarkable woman in every way.
